The past year has been our most successful one to date, seeing record growth and attracting multiple award wins across the sector for our work. This all plays into one of our most recent accolades, recognising us as the 15th fastest growing business in the North West region at the North West Fastest 50 Awards.

Run by Ward Hadaway in partnership with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, the awards brought together the top 50 companies for a celebratory event at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre. With the awards recognising and celebrating company growth, innovation, and commercial achievement, we were very proud to be recognised for our commitment to people-focussed and high-quality delivery – both critical components to our successful growth.

Owner and chair Derek Horrocks said: “We’ve enjoyed great success in the past few years, continuously growing not just our offering and output, but also our culture, our team, and our core beliefs of excellence in delivery without compromising placing people at its heart.

“The effect our work has on the environment and the residents in the communities within which we work is a tangible, positive change. While business growth is an indicator to success, one of the biggest things we focus on is bringing people with us on our mission. Our staff and supply chain partners can see the difference and take pride in we are making together, with the mission of our leadership team being to foster a culture where we all play a part in positive outcomes for people.

“We have a reputation for being leaders in this field and it is well-earned, along with our technical reputation. The North West as a region has a lot of brilliant talent and potential, so while we operate nationally, to be recognised as one of its premier companies is an honour.”

Liz Bottrill, executive partner at Ward Hadaway’s Manchester office, said “2023’s Fastest 50 perfectly illustrates how North West businesses are triumphing against the odds. In the face of incredible inflation pressures, rising interest rates, high energy costs and a tough recruitment landscape, businesses across our region are winning.

“They’re continuing to push forward, innovate, think outside of the box and bring a new perspective to doing business. The strength of character across all businesses, large and small, stands out and their positivity and productivity has led to prosperity and success.”

Following this, we have seen further regional recognition as we also scored 12th in Lancashire Business View’s Hot 100.
